A Well Architected Review helps identify and fix potential issues with your AWS environment. Our AWS Certified Solutions Architects will carry out a full review for you, spanning three stages:

Step 1: Review

We deep dive into your existing AWS environment and review it against the AWS Well Architected Framework and your desired outcomes. Our review is aligned with the five pillars of the AWS Well Architected Framework:

  1. Operational excellence: Using systems to deliver business value

  2. Security: Protecting information and systems

  3. Reliability: Ensuring workloads perform correctly and consistently

  4. Performance efficiency: Using IT and computing resources efficiently

  5. Cost optimisation: Avoiding unnecessary costs

Step 2: Report

Next, we deliver a full report of our findings, broken into easy to understand priorities and recommendations. Our reports include:

  • Well Architected Framework Report. Very detailed AWS tooling report that includes recommendations based on red, amber, green traffic light indicators and our own commentary based on your unique AWS setup.

  • Lancom Technology Report. Written by one of our AWS Certified Solutions Architects, this contains our recommendations and practical advice to improve your AWS environment. It will allow you to make informed decisions on how best to improve your AWS environment.

  • Statement of Work. We present a scope of work to improve your AWS environment. This is a no obligation quote outlining expected timeframes and costs, enabling you to plan your budgets accordingly.

Step 3: Remediate (optional)

Our AWS Certified Engineers can align your AWS environment with the Well Architected Framework by implementing the recommendations from the Statement of Work:
